This tea originally grew only at extreme altitudes in Fujian. And it was picked by specially trained monkeys, which gave it its name. Today, however, it is picked by human hands during a short period of only a few days a year. The coarser, slightly fluffy leaf produces a light green and smooth cup with a subtle honey note.
